i spoke with 4 difeerent people about my phone today. The top of the screen is almost unreadiable also the ringer and sound cuts in and out when it wants to. I called to get a replacement phone and was told that i couldnt recive one because they no longer replace lost or stolen phones. My phone is defective because of nothing i did to it. I called Safe Link to report my phone lost. I received a replacement phone and called technical support to get the phone activated. After spending more than an hour on the phone, the rep informed me he needed to give me my new number. I informed him I did not want to change phone numbers, I have had the number for over 20 years, I was not told I would loose my number, and he said there was nothing he could do. I have been a customer of Safelink Wireless for about 4 months now. In those 4 months, I have had 2 replacement phones and I don't know if the one they are sending will be any better than the last 2. The first one, screen wouldn't show anything and the second one, I couldn't get notifications. Now that I've ordered a new phone (yesterday), they cancelled my service (today). I recieved my Safelink phone. It said I have 23 minutes availabke to call tgeir number and activate it. I tried calling and my phone said, "no service" and theur were three bars on the signal. Called tech support and punched in some codes and stuff that didn't work, then was told to pull tgd battery and sim card and put them back in, then tech hung up. I did it but still not working. Got cut off because I didn't declare I was the only one in my household. No one asked me too! Customer care told me I had to reapply? Why? I did and I then found out when, by chance, I visited their website again that they couldn't verify my SSN or DOB. I have SafeLink Wireless account and still have 328 unused minutes on my phone. However, about four days ago my phone stopped working. After sending the dialed number, I'm consistently receiving the message "Network Busy." I'm trying to contact the SafeLink Tech Support, but the only way to get in touch with them is over the phone.
