Can not get anyone to answer phone!

Mailed back application 5weeks ago still no response! All information correct that i mailed in. This is poor customer services. I'm wondering if Safe Link is billing the government for phones and not sending the phones out to the customers.

Recertify

Recived text. Told i need to recertify. Called to recertify. Wad told i was recertified. Call back 2 days make sure it went thru. Called again told i was not and could not till end of july. Requested recertifcation thru mail, said they would send ha e recivef nothing. Cannot do online wont let me. Cannot get thru on phone. Fix this or i go back to LANDLINE.

Good day, every year I've problem with recertification, every year I'm told it's not time, I tell the person that it came on my phone and this my yearly time, so then I go on line with unable to do my recertification and cut off, it's sad that people don't want to do the job they were hire for, I did a new enrollment on the 2nd of June, 2018 Still waiting for my minutes and forms to come in the mail. I also have problem on upgrading my phone, I was told over and over that I've to pay when the upgrade phones are free and mostly everyone in my building been upgraded to a better phone, Thank you Ms. Hicks

Consumer, beware. Safelink is a fraud.

First of all, I was with safelink many years with no problem, then in November of 2017, I started getting text messages saying I needed to recertify when I had already recertified quite a few times! I called customer service and talk to people who do not know how to speak English.

I was told different things each time then finally at the end when they were cutting me off I had many minutes left that I lost Then they told me I had to requalify I retried to requalify and that was no good either I was told I had 2 phones that were registered with safe link and it was like I was some kind of criminal with 2 phones which of course I did not have two phones. These people are ripping off the government. They are probably receiving money from the government for this imaginary second phone that I supposedly have! This company should be closed down for fraud.

I would rather do without a free phone than deal with these people as they took hours of my time and I had to talk to people that I couldn't even understand! The company, does nothing but want you to buy minutes while you have your free phone, they keep texting you to buy more minutes! They are a rip off. I am reporting them to my congressman and explaining my situation!

Something has to be done with this fraudulent company! My warning is Stay away from safe link!!!!

I agree 100%! Same here.

They are telling my husband his phone is activated and ready to use, yet when he tries it tells him he needs to activate his phone.

He can't use it. SafeLink is not only a joke, but yes, I believe fraudulent as well.

When I first signed up for service, I wanted to bring my own phone. The Sim card didn't work that they sent me, but no one told me it needed to be re branded. Each time I'd call, I spent at least an hour on the phone and, while they understood English, they didn't understand the issue o was facing. I went two months without service while pregnant. After finally getting squared away with that issue, I received a notice in the mail, as well as a number of emails telling me to recertify. When I went online to do so, I was told it was too early, and it wouldn't allow me. I called. I was told the same thing. Cut to two weeks later, I don't get my minutes. I called again and, this time, was told I'd missed the recert window. I had to reapply. I did so over the phone. Or so I thought. Come April first, no minutes, and I start receiving their adverts in the mail. So, I tried to reapply online. It wouldn't let me and directed me to call. No way Not again. I'm hard of hearing, too, those conversations are also difficult to reexplain. I let two months pass and applied to assurance wireless online. I had lifeline phone in less than a week. I went a total of four months while pregnant or with an infant because of SafeLink. The government is wasting money by using them.

Purchased a NEW cellfone FROM THEM! Tried diligently to get THEM to activate it! AFTER approximately, - - - 23 VERY lengthy (LONNNG), calls - - - - = 5 full days worth of extreme frustration, - - - the VERY LAST fellow whom I spoke with, - - - informed ME that - - - I was NO LONGER a SAFELINK customer!!! WHAT a "COLOSSAL" joke! Aholeez sell me a NEW fone, but shut off my services! & it ONLY took'um "24 LD calls", - - - - to discover, WHAT "THEIR" problem is - - - was - - - OMG!!! (screw up was) & I am STILL waiting, - - - Again! Here I am, severely dis-abled w/o my lifeline working! Wud recommend NOT doing ANY business with them!!! VERY DENSE< UN informed Tech's, - - - for the most part!

How can they only get my applaction with my SNAP card and my Medicaid card and my driver lic STAPLED to it in srveral places my ID # writen all over it sent in same mailing and clear , checked over by 4 outher pro. People and they say they can' t read it , or my name is not on the cards not True if the cards have no name on them I would not be able to use them, safelink wireless is full of B.S. And they are making me insain just trying to get my phone back on .

IMPOSSIBLE TO RE-VERIFY MY SAFELINK ACCOUNT!

I have been trying to re-verify my SafeLink account since November 2017, after 6 letters and a multitude of texts from SafeLink reminding me to do so. The latest text, January 6, 2018, claims I have just 60 days to re-verify.

Neither of the problems below has ever happened, and I've re-verified every year since 2014, when I was first approved. When I've signed in on www.safelink.com/verify, a gray drop-down box has a message stating that I am NOT required to verify, and I am unable to proceed. Repeatedly. When I've called 1-80*-723-****, after I say "verify," I am automatically put on hold for a customer service agent.

Needless to say, it takes forever for an overseas phone bank rep to answer, wasting minutes, so I have to hang up. Finally, on December 31, 2017, (VERY FRUSTRATED,) I waited until "Debbie" picked up. Her accent was so heavy that I could not understand her. There was much repetition before I figured out what she was saying.

I explained my problems with verification, and told her that the SafeLink system had automatically transferred me to her. I read her the message from the website as well. After taking my sign-on information, she told me that she sees where I had just re-verified, and that it takes 24 hrs to show up on the web site. No matter how I tried, I could not make her understand that I WAS UNABLE TO RE-VERIFY AT ALL.

Needless to say, there has been no change to my status on the web site. I am not verified. I've been trying almost every day. HERE’S THE KICKER….Today, when I called 1-800-SafeLink, I got a loop recording, offering me "free" and "special deals" on personal safety devices, home alarms, insurance, etc.

Phone spam using the same female voice from SafeLink. Pushing the # button to decline just advances to the next "deal" and NEVER allowed me to connect to customer service. I tried the number twice, with the same outcome.

Now what? I’m stuck, and very angry.

Dealing with this company is worse than dealing with a funeral!!! Nothing ever got completed.

No phone ever received. Too many hoops to jump through! They never give complete directions. Trying to reach a representative to talk to is nearly impossible.

They should not be in business. Are they in the United States or out of the country? Their supervisors are worse tan the representatives. Their phone system sucks.

When being transferred to someone e3lse, you get cut off. If there is a heaven and a *** you know where the owners of this place are going.

If you need a phone, go buy one. Their free p[hone is a joke!!

Customer service just lies. This company gets fed money to provide a service to Americans but such a shame that the customer service representative just lie and every day. Keep uploading documents and send it by text but they still missing one and when asked why, they says u LL get your phone in 7-10 business day... For everything.. and we waited and ask customer service and keep getting different answer.

Have called 4 times in 2 weeks. Said first SIM card was bad. Sent another one. Said they can't activate phone with him card because it's registered to a different user. They are the ones who sent it to my husband. He requires oxygen and sometimes loses his breath. He can't call anyone because they can't get his phone to work!! SafeLink customer service is a joke. Get rid of that company and have English speaking true Americans answer our calls.

I've had safelink for 3 months then I get no minutes, I got a replacement phone that was suppose to be the same model as my smartphone,but instead gave me a flip phone, what!! and called 5 times to put my minutes back on my smartphone and not the flip, still no minutes after 1 day and I called 5 times, so frustrated, not happy!
