Safelink SUCKS

I got the phone last month, I have not been sable to use it from my house cause I get no bars at all (says emergency only). Second I charge the phone all night asnd by noon time battery dead. Call Wonderful and useless TECH Support that told me nothing they can do. So why do they issue the piece of *** phones and lousy service. Why are they afraid to talk to a customer or have a number where they can fix problems instead of *** of the user. What are my options now to keep this phone that is useless?

Customer service

called to find out how to block a number told my model doesn't have it but I will transfer you After 1 hour 4 girls none of the phones have it. Every girl I talked to transferred me to another dept. I could hardly understand the women in the first place,and 3 of them told me I could get a different model that had a blocking feature. Turns out they said none of the phones they have let you block any numbers. I was also put on hold 40 minutes this is really bad customer service in my opinion,and they don't care at all

I was approached to sign up with SafeLink. The representative said that we would receive Blackberry phones with cameras. We did not receive those phones. What we received are the small basic phones same as Assurance Wireless. These phones provided by the Government are gimmicks. You pay more for minutes, than Verizon Wireless or any other phone service. I advise others to not receive these phones.

These "customer service" agents are terrible they all must be in their teens from another country. The reps cannot answer any questions you nay have they'll lie to get you off the phon. I guess they're employed because its a service to poor people so no one cared about the hiring process. I think they are an embarrassment!

well I see i'm not the only one having issues of not getting minutes, have called to get minutes only to be told your phone is not active and had to call another number so i did and still no minutes BUT YET them still saying cell not active THEN WHY CAN I STILL TEXT???? Moving on to diff cell safe link sucks!!!! 63 words not typing 100 words so here we go./././././././././././././././././././././././././././.

SafeLink problems

It won`t let me call out or send texts. Caption comes up "emergency only" or "service unavailable". I`m a disabled vet with neither a car or a driver`s license. My phone is my lifeline. I need to get this problem solved as soon as possible. Calling safelink on a friend`s phone only got me recording after recording after recording. I need to speak to a real human being but apparently safelink does not employ any! I have over 300 minutes and 646 service days left but it does me no good. Does anyone know of a way to contact a real person at safelink? The website is USELESS!!!!!

In my opinion, Safelink is a total scam

I submitted my online application for a Safelink phone on August 2, 2015. The application itself was approved but Safelink required income documentation, which I already knew. I emailed scanned copies of my 2015 Social Security Statement of Benefits (leaving out my S.S. number of course but including my name and address). This is my only income, but that apparently was not enough proof for Safelink. The website said that I would receive confirmation when my email was received, but I have sent and re-sent my documentation without any confirmation at all. Despite sending a complaint email I still have not received any response from Safelink, much less the phone itself. In my personal opinion Safelink is a complete scam and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the application process itself is a sneaky way to obtain personal information, possibly for identity theft. This is the worst case of customer "service" I have ever encountered. Buyer beware. Do your research and remember you usually get what you pay for.

Never received Promotional minutes

Never received promotional monthly 500 minutes. Their system is saying I did, I keep telling them I didn't.

I've called over 8 times trying to rectify this problem. I keep telling them to go into my call log and compare Minutes Issued to Minutes Used, which would clearly reflect MINUTES WERE NOT ISSUED. They refuse to go that extra mile, to search out the problem.

Safelink would rather imply that I'm a LIAR than to EVER think that the computer is WRONG!!! This is very irritating because I've given Safelink my personal information to receive a service that isn't nearly worthy to have it.

They are rude rude rude uncaring company. I had brain surgery and my phone broke and couldn't remember my number. I called to get a new phone and they talked down to me and when I couldn't remember my phone number the person on the other end (safe link) called me dumb after I had brain cancer surgery and I was so upset I wanted God to take me if this is the way I will be treated by this company. I'm sorry "Safelink" I will die soon and I won't bother you again. I live in Connecticut and I will tell everybody to go with another company. My Medicare was paying for it and it's a shame they treat the terminally ill like garbage. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY because they (Safelink) are uncaring and just want the money. I have no way to call for help because the company refuses to use my name and SS # to look my account up. I never have been treated so bad by anybody or any company before. I still have no phone and my life is on the line if I need help. Safelink should be band from Medicare clients because of their BAD BAD business practice. They should be investagated by the government because they are STEALING money from our Medicare and SSI. I can't get a new phone or another system because Medicare said till they cancel my contract I'm phone less. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE SAFELINK. They are an evil money stealing company who does not care about the thermally ill or the elderly. There are other systems so go for that instead. I'm trying to get my case worker to help me get a new system when she has the time to fight them. You will regret it if you go through this company. "Safelink" is owned by satin and they are not a company God would want you to use. They treat you like garbage and do not care about the sick or elderly. Find another company, DO NOT USE "SAFELINK"!!!!

I applied in June of 2015 and it is now September , still waiting for the phone. No matter witch number I call it is always a recording and it always says I'll get my phone on 5 days.

All i have to add is stay away from safelinks. it is not a wonder they have so many complaints on this site.

After 13 emails,and at least 9 different reps, i still never got a new phone. This company is beyond belief,and totally disorganized.

I have posted here a couple of times. Pissed consumer is a great platform. Safelink responded to my complaint. I have never in my life experienced anything like their customer service. Thirteen emails,and 9 representives my phone is still inoprable. They send you to all kinds of people to make it look like their are helping you. what a joke said they were troubleshooting, but kept asking for my serial number and my phone number. How can you troubleshoot without knowing this info? Each rep asks you the same question as the last one, these people all should be fired. I just got a email asking if I want to cancel my service. I have sent 4 mails in big capital letters to cancel my service. Seniors and disabled people stay away from this company. They will stress you out,and never get you results.

You get stressed die mid call and they takeover+vend your identity before shift is over. Tracphone has literally 20 new company names in 2017/18 since messing up brands like safelink.

LL Program run by states collects your info in writing not a rep over phone. Thats abuse of your confidential info. No full info . free isnt worth hassle lies intimidation repeat etc.

They get paid thousand plus for your 12 months. POS crapdevice its free, so is service bit by bit. Just say NO thanks. No Robo emails from matt!

Use a pen paper+ stamp.

Its faster!!! Phones give you radiation,cheap toys, keep you steady angry, higher b.p....

I have never yet been their customer. They have sent me Numerous emails in response to my reply to their emails saying they did not get my email in response to their email...

If I send them an email asking if anyone Actually reads my emails, I immediately get a response that they did not get that email. Their emails have an Enrollment Number attached. I get emails saying it is not a valid Enrollment Number, I say give me a valid one. They say they did not get that email.

Today I called on a phone to talk to an Earthling.

I punched in zip, date of birth, last 4....Etc. for 24 minutes over & over&over&over&over.......

matt, you sent this exact email. safelinks sent me to numerous customer service reps,and emailed me back and forth.

your company is a joke. Stress someone else out. Your customer reps,are disorganized,and i beleive did not do their jobs.

Kept asking my serial number,and phone number. How do you troubleshoot without this info.all your reps fail to remember these phones are our lifeline,and could save our lives.

PUSHY SAFELINK REPS IN WALMART

Two of their reps were set up in a booth in WalMart today. They followed customers around and approached workers while they were on the job.

I don't really know why WalMart lets these people in when they have their own cell phone department. WalMart, who decided this? Someone in your home office?

You don't need these pushy people blocking the aisles like the guy who chased down the man in the motorized chair and then held him captive for 20 minutes while they signed him up for their service! If this is something you're doing, set them up in the electronics section with the other kinds of cell phones and don't let them bother people!

Nope. We are not like this.

We are approachable and respectful.

We ask kindly, explain company briefly, if you do have programs we register you, if you don't we say 'thank you ma'am/sir, have a great day' and we walk off. No harassment there.

I AM FILING A COMPLAINT NOW WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE OF FLORIDA. I HAVE HAD TO BUY EXTRA MINUTES SINCE MARCH DO TO SAFELINK'S FAILURE TO ADD PROPER AIRTIME.

SAFELINK SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO STATE "EXACTLY"WHY THIS HAS HAPPENED FOR 4 MONTHS WITH AT LEAST "100 WORDS"... !!!
