im sorry but after dealing with a customer service rep on a regular...(well if that is what is their definition of "regular" buisiness hours from 9-5) that cant speak english very well. They are broken and can hardly hear or understand them.

1- I tell them I cannot understand them because they are breaking up...they fix it and then it gets worse.

2- Even when there is a clear line, 98% of the time, you cannot even understand them. This is a miscommunication of both language barriers but frankly THIS is a AMERICAN company using outsourcing because its cheaper labor.

When a customer calls...We call and expect someone to understand our language alot better then the ways i hear most say on the phone...Its not just Safelink...its alot of corps. Who outsourced because they dont want to pay people good pay..Sorry they are there to be customer service reps.

Some want to get attitudes (which some do and I as a customer dont even cop a attitude till I feel like they are disrespecting me) The whole thing of Safelink being some top notch service is a bunch of BS..People can say whatever they want..-I- as a consumer thinks Safelink has one of the worst customer service reps I ever dealt with..and this is just ONE CUSTOMER.

Thanks but no thanks, keep your phone and keep paying *** pay for broken english reps..sorry ya work for american public through outsourcing..YA better do a better job speaking the broken english...There are some that I am sure can speak good enough english where the communication isnt so bad, but please where are they?

I have yet to deal with a GOOD customer service rep that can speak the English language good enough to have the customer understand. This is SAFELINKS fault this happens but thats what the american people get for letting the government allow companies to do this which shouldnt be in the first place...

i was told i qualified untill i gave them a address witch is a general delivery at post office and was asked do you own or rent i told them its at post office other government agency's use it i was told it had to bea real address well i gave them one was asked agian own or rent told them its a friends address im homeless . o we dont deal with your kind click i was so taken aback well i called back asked for a supervisor i was asked well get not homeless and reapply im not homeless by choice im homeless due to health. supervisors never around always busy told they need a address because fcc needs to know were i am . its such a crock of *** they need shut down

Federal law requires that thet ship to a residential.address. Thats the law not a crock of ***.

If you are homeless how do you have internet access? A guess the better question is if u have internet access why dont you use it to find a job instead of complaining about a good program

Signed up and was told a phone would arrive in 5-10 days. Two weeks and no phone later, I called and was told that the phone WAS activated by SOMEONE so somebody got it and was using it. They said they would turn that phone off and send another one in 5-10 days. Two weeks and no phone later, I called and was told once again that the phone WAS activated by SOMEONE. Again, that phone was disconnected and another one shipped out. AGAIN - phone was received by SOMEONE who was using it. Was told another one would be shipped out but this time I told them to FORGET IT!!! Also, I was told they had some phone numbers from the person using the phone... but couldn't give them me and wouldn't give them to the police when I lodged a complaint with them.

I did not receive my minutes so I called them, they canceled my phone because of this. I was given a physical address but resided in the same house. They said they canceled me because of this. Excuse me but one cannot move a house. It is the same house, just a physical address we had to have because of 911. They wanted to start me over. Both my husband and I are extremely ill. I would be without a cell phone for a month if they did this. When I tried to explain they hung up on me and refused to take my calls. All I wanted was to find out why I wasn't getting my minutes. I am very upset with this company and do not know where to find another one at this time. Someone really needs to look into this company as they are doing fraudent things here. Is it not true that they would get more money if they started a person off as a new phone customer???? And the fact that they put one on hold for hours then hang up on them and this person is sick is ***.

I was not notified they had canceled my service and as I had over 900 minutes and had used it the night before, when they told me I was canceled just because I had a physical address, that shocked me. It caused me high blood pressure and I have had a previous heart attack and stroke.

I have been sick all day today because of this. They had me on the phone over six hours, and hung up on me over a dozen times or more.

They are a government program which does not work. I have a NUN (sister) of the church who was approved for a phone and now she must reapply and because she lives in a convent, which safelink calls a business she cannot get her phone hook up again. I cannot get a phone number for the corporation and speak to someone who speaks and understands ENGLISH.. This is am program given by our american government and I cannot get and ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON!!!! WHY???? Someone help????????Please!! I would appreciate the CEO of this company call me back or email.

I meet all requirements needed & have had a safelink service in the past. When my annual verification was sent, i forgot to send my HEAP letter...in APRIL

DID THEY NOTIFY ME? NO!!! After months of BS I FAXED What the needed...

GUESS.....THE LOST MY INFORMATION & now want me to resend!!!!

Wasn't this set up for people who meet criteria..the disabled?

ANYONE with a diminished mental capacity, OR THE ELDERLY WOULD NEVER

BE ABLE to navigate this system. I am SURE MR OBAMA DID NOT INTEND for those in need to have such a horrific experience. I am also sure ANY OF THE MAJOR CELL COMPANIES would gladly take this contract & DO IT PROPERLY!!!

AND...why, if this is for AMERICANS...WHY DON'T AMERICANS

WHO SPEAK INELIGIBLE ENGLISH aren't the ones we have to speak too????

Safelink Wireless review in Old Town, Maine: Incorrect info placed on acct info

I applied for the safelink program. My safe link cell app was denied because they mistakingly did not put proper info in the system. Nor was I notified of the denial. I waited almost a month to find out via calling in. So disappointed....Hope others have better luck. I need to post 100 word count on this? Why does one need to do this. I can only say so much about this safellink, and cell phone service program. So much is needlessly stated. Well, this should be for an interesting read? Almost completeted. There, now finished...so I think.

I mailed in the application received in the mail and within 10 days I received my free phone. The phone After 30 minutes was a brand new LG cellular phone fully charged and without a scratch on it. It was fully charged so I followed the instructions included in the package. After 30 minutes the minutes were loaded and I was making calls. I had no problems or issues. I want to thank the processing team at SafeLink for an excellent job. I recommend this program to anyone who qualifies and pray that this program will continue to operate. Great job!

This is a great program! I received my free, NEW LG cell phone within 10 days of mailing the application, which I received in the mail. The phone was received fully charged so I followed the instructions included and loaded my free minutes. In 30 minutes the minutes were loaded and I was making FREE calls! The phone came with its own charger and is simple to use, I can only say excellent! I suggest this program to anyone who qualifies, please keep this program going. Great job to the processing staff at SafeLink! Thank you very much for your efficiency.
