My old got busted and my wife's friend had a new safelink smartphone she had got and didn't need so gave it to me I called a week ago to have account transfered 1st guy said he got it took care could take up to 24hrs wasn't there I called back the next *** said it didn't work because it wasn't in service area and the new cell wasn't a safelink phone even though safelink mailed it to friend and friend has same cell and lives within hollering range 3rd time they said I got to go buy my own minutes to get new one activated and it's a FREE MINUTES GOV.PHONE idk how to get this new going so I'll have a cell but what I do know is their costumer service people are a bunch of idiots and that all of them need to be retrained
