SafeLink Asked for the month and date phone was activated, He is a diabetic and wants to get a house phone. Safelink refuses to disconnect my friends phone if he can not remember the month and year, This was not part of the contract he signed with safelink.

It is impossible to remember month and date phone was activated. Company refuses to accept solid information such as his name and social. Please call 1-800-SafeLink (723-3546) Tell them this is not the way too get new consumers And let them know this is a necessity. Thank you.

If you wish to disconnect a SafeLink phone, why not just use all the minutes on it and then refuse to validate it when asked. The phone will get disconnected soon enough if you do not validate it.

If you are trying to keep the same telephone number, then you should be able to have the landline telephone company handle that problem for you.

You may even be able to mail back the SafeLink cellphone to a recycler service approved by SafeLink. I understand your concern but I fail to see the problem you are really having.
