I purchased a new phone thru Safelink Website affiliated sales partner in Florida and received within a few days and set up the transfer of number and benefits and had it working for a short while (1-2hours) and then I was asked if I wanted to upgrade on the phone using T Mobile service which is part of the phone so naturally said yes -anyways -soon after I found myself on the very first thing the phone will do when you turn it on which is the SAMSUNG screen and at the top in small red print it said the phone was locked due to some FAP stuff and so I contacted Samsung tech support who told me that that message means the phone had a Customized Software (Instead of original Samsung Software) and that they could not and would not fix it for me - so the place from Safelink Website that sold me the $120.00 phone I needed had bought some cheap shipment of phones that were tampered with and sold them as legit - of course they're return policy is ridiculously stringent with fee's and penalties and this and that which I hadn't read before I purchased having assumed that Safelink was protecting me but they too just ignore repeated attempts to get assistance - if you could get anything it would only have been a replacement of the same item which would have been another screwed up one from the cheap batch they bought for 5.00 a piece and sold as legit at 200.00 a piece - - pay for return shipping both ways and re-stock fees and the sorts - has to be untouched and all the impossible BS after opening- which dirty companies use to avoid customer service and do there dirty deeds - it's not worth trying as they'll charge you more and you get stuck with the same thing again plus 25.00 re-stock fee and shipping costs to them and from them for another 30.00 - so Safelink will loose some customers but they get rich quick and do not care if I need the service and what little I have is taken fro me- they are leeching off the gov't at the cost from poor disabled folks - stay away - they will take and ignore and are in bed with a disreputable company that will not give you what you paid for - they do it together or Safe-Link wouldn't stand for it
