My 87 year-old stepdad has been waiting three (3) months to be recertified by Safelink Wireless, only because they never received the two (2) recertification packages, which were completed and returned in the allotted time period. I have spent countless hours trying to explain to customer service that we don't need a new phone; the one he has works fine, and he has just learned how to operate it.

The first month we actually purchased minutes, at a cost of $10.00. This was after we had begun the recertification process, on-line. However, later found out that it did not meet all of the necessary requirements. Have since re-done the paperwork, and emailed it, along with required documents.

Still .... no word from Safelink. Why is it so hard for a senior citizen to get and keep a phone with 300 minutes, that is only used to stay in touch with relatives and friends.

No texting or messaging needed. I'm so confused and angry!!!!!
