I have not received my 250 free minutes from Safelink, even though I completed verification several weeks ago (it was impossible to do it at the safelink wireless website). I have spent many many hours (all day yesterday, for instance) trying to (1) contact Safelink (2) figure out a way to get the 250 minutes onto my cellphone (3) making sure I was re-verified, ALL TO NO AVAIL. Impossible to get through to anyone at Safelink.
Now I'm down to three minutes and am essentially without a phone.
DO NOT USE YOUR LIFELINE BENEFITS FOR SAFELINK. THEY ARE PROBABLY A SCAM, TAKING FEDERAL MONEY WITHOUT DELIVERING WHAT THEY WERE CONTRACTED TO DO FOR LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS.
